ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Apostle Irene A. Irene portrait

Apostle Irene A. Irene is a pastor, leadership development expert, educator, trainer, mentor, coach, and author with over two decades of experience in raising leaders, strengthening people, and helping individuals and organisations grow with purpose.

He holds a B.Ed. in Health Education from the University of Ibadan, an M.Sc. in Health Planning and Management from the University of Benin, and a Certificate in Leadership from Daystar Leadership Academy. His background in education, health planning, ministry, leadership development, people dynamics, and project management gives his work a broad and practical foundation.

He is the founder of Higherway Leadership Institute and the founder and lead pastor of Higherway Christian Centre, where he has taught, tested, and modelled leadership principles for over twenty years. Through his ministry and leadership platforms, he has trained, mentored, and raised men and women who continue to stand, serve, and lead with impact.

Apostle Irene A. Irene has developed several leadership, ministry, and personal development resources, including Capacity: The Engine of Destiny, Raising Godly Seed in an Ungodly World, The Administered Church, People Dynamics and Leadership Development, Project Management for Real Results, and other works focused on character, capacity, service, spiritual growth, and responsible leadership.

His passion is to raise leaders who think clearly, live responsibly, lead with integrity, build strong systems, and make lasting impact in their generation. His message is simple but firm: leadership is not merely about occupying a position; it is about becoming a person of capacity, character, wisdom, and influence.

START WITH WHAT YOU HAVE

Exodus 4:2 - "And the Lord said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod."

God already knows what He has placed in your hands. When He asked Moses what was in his hand, He was not seeking information for Himself. He asked for Moses' sake, so that Moses would become aware of the tool God had already positioned in his life. God does not ask because He does not know. He asks so that you may know. The rod in Moses' hand looked ordinary, but in the hands of God it became the instrument of deliverance for an entire nation. What is in your hand today? It may look small, it may look insignificant, but the God who placed it there knows exactly what He plans to do with it.

Jeremiah 1:5 - "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." This verse reminds us that God deposits gifts and assignments in us before we are even formed. He has already placed something in your hand, something in your life, that He intends to use for His glory. You do not need to look for what you do not have. You need to discover and deploy what you already have. Start with what you have. That is where your miracle begins. That is where your ministry begins. That is where your leadership journey takes its first step.
